On this 2 day course you will learn how to make a beautiful Bra for yourself using delicate fabrics and laces, stretch powernet and elastics. You have the choice of making a bra with or without underwires. I will provide you with all the matereials needed for you to make your Bra. I also supply a pair of Underwires for your Bra. These are all included in the course cost. Suitable for those with prior knowledge of sewing machines, and commercial garment patterns. This is an invaluable course to enable you to adapt a pattern for your bra that you can use over and over again. I have made a range of sample bras (toiles) which will be fitted onto the body and adjusted, if necessary, to fit your body shape. After adjustments to your pattern, you will learn how to cut out your bra and become skilled at using specialist construction techniques to enable you to work with these tricky fabrics. At the end of the course you will go home with a lovely Bra and a pattern that you can reuse. (Please note: As this will be your trial Bra, there may be some adjustments that need to be made to the finished garment. I will show you how to make final adjustments to your Pattern for future use.) On this course you will learn how to:
- Use a commercial Bra pattern.
- Adapt your pattern (if necessary) to fit your shape.
- Select suitable fabrics and trims.
- Work with specialist bra-making components.
